Vino Volo - Enfield

This is a fairly new restaurant in the Halifax airport. I had a couple of hours before my flight, and was tempted by their wine flight on a comfy chair, while getting some work done. I tried their red wine flight, 2oz of 3 different types of wines with their cheese platter. If you're a wine and cheese lover then this is a great place to check out while at the airport. They also have different pizzas. A bit on the pricey side... 6oz of wine a cheese board (can't be considered a meal) added up to $36 plus tip... The service is quick, attentive and very friendly!

This place is at the boarding gates level near the up escalator. It has a good selection of wines and other drinks. I always order the flatbread and a flight of wine. Service is friendly and fast. Prices are reasonable considering it's post security in a busy airport. I'm a regular customer here.

Tasty lunch, and excellent service from our friendly server Hermes. Pizza and sandwiches were great, lobster taco so-so and small for the price.

Bad wine not acknowledged, belligerent waitress. NOT recommended at all.

I was here a couple weeks ago. We must have waited 20 minutes before a staff member came to say we will be with you shortly. Shortly was another 10 minutes. I could see 4 empty tables. The line up behind me was at least another 3 tables worth. I could see the waitresses staring at us from the bar laughing.. When the hostess (I'm assuming) came to get us she immediately went back on her phone ignoring new people waiting to be seated. I could hear people beside us complaining about how long it was taking to get their bill.. There was a guy beside me who's flight was boarding in 20 minutes and he asked will it be ready for that time and the waitress said yes. It was a soup and it still took 20 minutes for it to show up. Poor guy had to ask again and again for his meal and wasn't able to even finish it. There was a table that was seated after us and they got their food before us even though they got a similar item I did. When it came out the sandwich was okay but the fries tasted like they were stale and old. I didn't even eat any. I immediately asked for my bill and it still took a while to get. My advice to the staff/managers is make sure you acknowledge your customers and because you are in the airport you should be more accurate when it comes to food times.. I would not go back here again, nor would I recommend this restaurant.
