Great food. Nice and pleasant staff. I'm glad this place survived the pandemic. My wife was pleased with the fried chicken and waffles, I got the Reggie Jackson. Simple comfort food done right.

I had a great time at the restaurant. The food was tasty and the place wasn't too crowded. I ordered scrambled eggs, fried chicken, and hash browns, while my husband had pork chops, scrambled eggs with cheese, and a pecan waffle. I didn't see a parking lot, but there was street parking available. The restaurant doesn't have stairs, so it would be wheelchair accessible.

When Chef Carlos is in the kitchen, you can expect delicious soul food at this restaurant. Their Sunday Dinners are full of flavor, offering dishes like catfish, smothered chicken and steak with gravy, corn, potato salad, cornbread, and biscuits. I recommend visiting on a Sunday, but they also have a wide variety of breakfast options every day. One of our favorites is the Reggie Jackson special with smothered pork chops and homemade gravy that really hits the spot. In addition to the amazing food, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy with a rich family history. Owned by a family, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals.
