Excellent service, was made to feel at home. Great atmosphere and superb food and drinks.
We finally had the opportunity to try Greene Square, located in the clubhouse at Dragon Ranch Golf Club, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. We had the perfect spot right next to the fireplace, which added to the cozy atmosphere. The menu is creatively different from other restaurants, and I particularly enjoyed the chicken and beignets, which were fantastic. My wife couldn't stop raving about the shrimp and goose long after we left. It's refreshing to see a restaurant offering unique dishes at a reasonable price. We will definitely be returning soon!
The restaurant has a comfortable ambiance, featuring a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace. The collard greens and chicken paprikas are the best I've ever had—sorry, Grandma!
For appetizers, we shared the fried green tomatoes, which were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. A friend ordered the cheese and bacon queso served with cornbread chips, and it was quite unique and tasty. My husband chose the salmon, which he enjoyed, and the accompanying broccoli was excellent. Another friend had the fried chicken with collard greens and linguine and declared it to be superb; his clean plate backed up that claim. Someone else ordered the shrimp and grits and loved it, while the stuffed meatballs over spaghetti were a generous portion and reportedly delicious. I opted for the Greek pizza, which was good, but after seeing the fried chicken, I wished I had ordered that instead. Another friend had the veggie pizza and initially sent it back for being overcooked (though I would have enjoyed it crispy). Thankfully, after returning it for a fresh one, they were very satisfied. Our waiter was efficient, helpful, and attentive. He quickly offered to replace the overcooked pizza, and when my friend changed their mind about the replacement, the waiter happily took it back and soon brought out a fresh version, as the cook had prepared one just in case. He also made suggestions for those who had questions and was knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, it was a pleasant and delicious experience, and we will definitely return. It wasn't overly busy for a Friday night, likely due to the gloomy weather, Ohio State's game, and the time between holidays. I hope more people give this place a try and discover how good and unique it is. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with Green Square.
