Burger Lounge - Eltham

Sometimes the burgers are great but more often than not they are disappointing. Recently I ordered the Mexican, the meat patty was over cooked and had not been seasoned and the burger barely had any Jalapeños on it. I don't think I'll be coming back, the price is too high and the quality of food served is inconsistent. Service at the till is also slow at times with no one attending waiting customers.

While always popular I thought I'd get a quick take away burger. They were not overly busy so I expected a reasonable experience.What a shame I had reasonable expectations. I walked in, the girl behind the counter looked up, then looked away rather than serving me. I walked closer and got her attention and was greeted with. "What do you want?" No greeting, no smile. I asked her how she was and she looked at me like I was an alien. No matter, I ordered. 25 minute wait, even that was ok.When I came back to collect my order 25 minutes later the same girl did not recognise me. Asked me what I would like to order. I explained, she said nothing to me, spoke to someone and came back and said it would be another ten minutes and then vanished.Five minutes later and young man motioned at me with a half nod of his head holding out a paper bag with a burger in it.When I asked if it way my order, he simply held out the bag. I asked if it was a classic burger and again got no response. Finally I asked if it was my order and I got nothing more than a grunt.When I got home I found a burnt meat patty that fell apart before I could take a bite.I suggest you send your staff on customer service training and teach them that burnt is not the only flavour of meat.

A variety of burgers and the buns are fresh, different and excellent. A good burger experience!! Good service.

I've come here multiple times and every time we have had a burger from there it has always been consistent and really good. This place has a great vibe but they should find a way to get rid of all the flies
