Russell's Barbecue - Elmwood Park

Worst ribs, I've ever had absolutely horrible. I don't know what they were boiled. Certainly not barbecued or smoked. Just I'll never go back there again.

Comfort food since I was a child. Doesn’t matter what you choose to eat you will enjoy. Because to try the original bbq sauce, it’s what made Russel’s Russel’s !!!!

Quick service and lots of seating. Had the pulled pork nachos.

I thought the Ribs should have been more tender and more flavors of sauces.

Russell's holds a special place in my heart. It has been around all my life. Over the decades it has waxed and waned in its presence but it is still standing and serving its famous fare with its delicious and unique barbeque sauce which hooks most everyone after tasting it just once. My most recent visit (after quite a few years) instantly flooded my brain with family memories with the first bite of my shredded pork sandwich. Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger.
