フィードバックを提供するBittersweet posting here. It had been awhile since I last visited Lotus. I went for a late lunch and ordered the green onion pancake appetizer along with sesame checken for an entree. The appetizer isn't often found in many Chinese restaurants, so I was glad to see it on the menu and enjoyed it immensely. The sesame chicken was pretty good too served with small bits of chopped zucchini (I believe) and a slightly sour sauce, which was both good and different from other sesame chicken entrees I've tried. I also ordered a shrimp fried rice to take home for later consumption haven't had that entree yet. But the bittersweet part about this post isn't about the food that I ordered, butthe fact that I was one of the last customers to be served at Lotus the owners are retiring and the restaurant is officially closed. Always enjoyed some good meals there in the past, especially with my mom who really liked dining at Lotus. Always sad to see a place go that's been around for 3 decades... I wished them the best.
Amazing Taiwanese menu, very authentic and tasty. Anything with the pig intensities was good; and I have not seen Hakka style stir fry anywhere in Chicagoland.

It was an amazing experience and such a delicious meal! Our server was so engaging and fun.
The best Orange Chicken and Hunan Beef!! This is our go to Asian cuisine. It's affordable but quality food. The noodles are excellent as well. We order from here whenever we have a party and it does disappoint.
