フィードバックを提供するGood brunch but the place was a little disorganized on a Sunday afternoon when we visited. Staff did not look like they wanted to be there, sour faces across the floor. Spent quite a while waiting for a server to take our order after being seated. All in all, a meh experience that won't be revisited.
If you can you must stop into Archie's for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The breakfast here is beyond expectation. The dishes are curated to sate your hunger. My recommendation is the florintine omelet, the delicately prepared eggs, and fresh fillings are elevated when you bite into the cheese at the center. Also, the French toast here, which can come with a variety of in-house decadent toppings, is the best tasting in town. For lunch, both burgers present a cascade of taste for the diner and present a solid amount of food for the price. I'll withhold comment on dinner for now, besides saying the cornbread is amazing, it's a newer addition to the establishment, and I haven't tried many of the offered dishes.I've been to Archie's a fair bit recently, my office is close by, and watching the thoughtfully presented orders for others pass by keeps me coming back to try new items.Beyond the food. The location is on the smaller side and can get a bit loud when busy for those with auditory dining needs. The seating is a mix of high tops and standard tables, both are appropriate for the dining experience though the high-top chairs are a bit stern and narrow if this is something you consider when choosing a place to eat.Archies's is a fine place to take younger diners. Though may be difficult with a stroller.Just as information for prospective diners, parking is a bit wonky around Archie's. There are a decent number of metered parking spaces though they are mostly back-in spots and if your car is longer it's not feasible to use them since the road is pretty narrow. Depending on the time of year, or your walking abilities, there is ample access to walk from nearby streets to Archies.TLDR: Archie's has some of the best food in town, if you can stop in while visiting TC it's worth your time. If you are a local go as soon as you can and support the great food!
Our summer brunch experience at Archies left us utterly impressed. The short rib eggs Benedict and pancakes were exceptional, and every dish arriving at nearby tables looked equally enticing. The extensive menu had me wanting to try everything. We received a gift card for Christmas so we returned to explore their dinner offerings, and it was phenomenal. The cornbread and short rib nachos vanished quickly, a testament to their deliciousness. My wife enjoyed the colossal Short Rib, proclaiming it outstanding, while I opted for the delightful black bean burger accompanied by seasoned fries. Despite feeling full, we succumbed to dessert—a simple yet delectable Egg Nog cake that didn't disappoint. Archies is a must-visit for an evening of outstanding cuisine and a delightful weekend brunch. Highly recommended!
My Hubs and I partook in Archie’s New Year’s Eve 4 course dinner and it was just wow! The value was amazing. Not only did the managers check in with us but the chef did as well. Everyone was friendly, we loved their story, and food was great. My only complaint is I couldn’t finish every course due to being stuffed!
Excellent food and service! We ordered the short ribs and Mac n cheese…amazing! Will be back!
