Sonic Drive-in - Ellsworth

The food is so much better and consistent under new management, and the staff is also much better. My only complaint is every single time we come here they are out of several items, and it's not posited anywhere they are out. I understand supply chains aren't what they used to be, but I think they need to make adjustments to order quantities and also post if they are out of something, it would be far less frustrating. I had an awful experience coming here. My friends and I stopped here on our way back from vacation and we needed a quick drink. We tried to use our sonic app, but it was down. We resorted to pressing the red button, in which they told us we only could pay with cash because all of their card readers were down. We then gathered our cash to order our food. We ordered 3 drinks and some snacks. It took 20 minutes to come out. I’m not sure if it was a rough patch in their business day and nothing was working, but it was very frustrating. We have come here times before and our drinks took a lot longer than needed to come. Most of their stall machines also were not working. A quick stop at sonic turned into a 30 minutes ridiculous ordeal that ruined our moods.
