Poole's -b-q - Ellijay

Great Bbq and great service in a quirky-themed bbq restaurant with its own pork hill. We had the shaved brisket, the fried chicken dinner and the Brunswick stew. All right. A variety of secondary dishes to supplement the various choices and plentiful sitting. On the back there is a hill full of plastic. Sweet and it seems that you buy a pig and leave your brand on the hill for $3. Will be back.

Very good bbq. We all got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. We also got Smokey sauce because they were out of original. Would have liked more options on the sauce. It’s a family owned business with lots of pig signs everywhere. We will definitely be going back.

First stop for food on our little family vacation. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the brisket and baked beans.

Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend adding this to your bucket list especially if you're in or around Ellijay. The meat is spot on, absolutely delicious. The BBQ beans and brunswick stew were my favorite sides.

We always enjoy making the drive to this place just for the BBQ. Everything we've tried has been delicious. Be sure to order the onion rings and roasted okra! After lunch, a lovely walk in downtown Ellijay is the perfect way to spend the day. There's truly nothing better than Poole's BBQ!
