Gaby's is amazing! The food and drinks were top notch and the prices are reasonable. Everything was unique and authentic. The service was exceptional, they were very attentive and not at all overbearing. The atmosphere here can't be beat as far as the area goes. It felt like I was in a small village in Mexico. If you’re passing through Elenville, I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Perhaps for the area it’s great, but the food is mediocre at best. I ordered the Burrito Supremo with the black bean soup side. The soup was very watery and the burrito was meh. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Poor service and food. I was a frequent customer there and my last experience wasn’t pleasant. I wasn’t a fan of the skirt steak and I told the waitress. Instead of addressing the issue she walked away, so I continued to try my meal. Eventually I couldn’t stomach the poorly made food so I tried to send it back but instead of correcting my meal the owner got offended that I didn’t like the food and kicked me out the restaurant. After a $200 meal he rather take a loss on a bill than to just rectify my meal. Never will go back there again. They lost a loyal customer. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to, but I only gave it a 3-star rating because the food was not served hot. My chicken fajitas were lukewarm, while the same dish at the next table was sizzling hot. The taste was excellent, but the temperature was disappointing. My friend had filet mignon in a wine reduction that was also not served hot. The taste was great, but room temperature food is never ideal. It seems like the restaurant might be understaffed or overbooked, despite having empty tables. If the food was served hot, I would have rated it a 5. Parking is a challenge, with limited municipal lots and side streets with one-hour limits. Be prepared to search for parking. Overall, the meal cost $30-50 per person, the service and atmosphere were average, and parking was difficult to find.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely scrumptious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is enchanting. I dined in for dinner and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Guacamole Made Table Side, Chimichanga, and Chips and Salsa.
