The Canopy Bistro+ - Ellenton

Lovely little place. I've been driving past it for quite a while and finally had a chance to stop. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. Great ambiance and the service is outstanding. Had the burger and tots and they were excellent. Good selection of drinks. Plan to make this my regular stop. Take the time and check them out. Not your typical restaurant or bar, nice and relaxing. I really enjoyed it.

I have gone here multiple times since they opened and I generally enjoy it. It's a really cute little space with good food. Tonight there was a large group and it was deafeningly loud. I was with family and we kept hoping that maybe the group was going to wrap up soon because we were yelling at each other to communicate but we ended up just tapping out without dinner and leaving because it was so loud. My Dad's wife was getting warnings on her Smartwatch about the decibel level. It probably wouldn't have been an issue in a larger place but this is fairly small. Unfortunate because this is normally an awesome place to visit.We will have to come back another time.

The food is so good I forgot to take a pic until now!! Yum! Service was super pleasant also. This place is a hidden gem for sure! Staycation Mojitos are the way to go.

Nice place but only open Thu Sun. How is that even viable?
