This gas station is turning into a joke. Stood at the register for 10 mins and left with nothing because the cashier couldnt figure out how to ring up a wrap with out a bar code. I will start driving a little further to get my snacks before work from now on.
I used to stop in here around 10 pm every night before I went to work and for almost a week they were out of Butterfinger's so I started going to Wal-Mart instead. But, the main part... There is a guy that works here that makes me really uncomfortable. Every time I go in he asks me to go out on a date with him and always talks about my hair, makeup, and clothing. He is extremely hard to understand but, he just kinda gives me the creeps. I stopped coming into this store all together for that reason.
Felt safe! Clean, happy staff and easy on and off of the freeway.
While I appreciate that Maverik's restrooms are always spotless and the staff is consistently friendly, I had a frustrating experience when I discovered they sold a faulty phone charger. I drove all the way from Utah to Oregon, and having a working phone charger is crucial for keeping my GPS active. Unfortunately, my regular charger broke just as I entered Nevada, and my battery was depleting quickly—losing one percent every ten minutes. I stopped at Maverik for gas, used the restroom, and picked up a new charger. I went with a pink camo charger, but when I placed it on the counter, the staff member gave me a negative look and warned, "Make sure to keep your receipt if it doesn't work." It seemed like she might have had issues with returning some chargers before. Unfortunately, the new charger didn’t work at all. I even closed all apps on my phone, including the GPS, but it died while I was in the middle of the desert, which was quite alarming. On my return trip from Oregon, I stopped by to return the faulty charger, but the staff didn’t seem concerned at all about my experience.
