Great laid back place with huge beer selecion and good food. The tattoo on the beach wine is a treat
We read about Skull Camp being a winery and a microbrew with both sold at their restaurant in Dobson. First it is a casual eatery. You can review menu or scan code to order online or at the counter. Seeking a light lunch our orders for a group of 4 adults and 2 children were: the Jumbo Pretzel (good), The 1/2 lb peel ‘n eat shrimp terrific Chicken fingers good barbecue pork good Nachos good. Actually my shrimp were a big hit. Service is good. As with many eateries staffing is an issue. They had a lot of fun games and activities that were very entertaining for grandchildren.
This place used to be amazing!!! We stopped in today and we’re totally disappointed!! No live music on Sunday, all the great food is gone and only a few appetizers now. I guess we aren’t the only disappointed people. Every time we came the parking lot and tables were packed with people. Today…2 people there. Bring it back like it used to be!!!
We used to love visiting Skull Camp and taking our son with us for dinner and my husband could enjoy a couple drinks. We recently went in and were told they no longer serve food outside of a couple bar snacks because they didn't want to be in food service anymore, so this is the only reason they lose a star from us. Their drink selections are nice, but it was much easier to find time to go when it was a family friendly dining location. As long as your main goal is the drinks you are good to go!
