I’ve enjoyed breakfast several times since October, 2021. The food is consistently delicious. Staff is friendly and cheerful. I recommend the tenderloin or ham and eggs! Nana’s is a block off the main road in downtown Elkin. Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did’
Our first and last visit here. Our table had not been wiped down, per waitress since closing on Saturday. There was sticky syrup and crumbs on the very worn out table cloth. The table cloth was possibly new when the place opened in 2019 but almost all the color was worn away and thread bare. Not very inviting.I ordered two gravy biscuits and country ham. The ham was good but the biscuits I got was just one biscuit split into two parts and the bottom was so hard I had to force the knife through it. The gravy had no taste. Coffee was okay. My wife had scrambled eggs, grits and very crispy bacon. All good but the bacon was over cooked.I should have mentioned our concern to the nice waitress but decided didn’t want it to reflect on her. She was doing a good job. After we departed I looked at my receipt and each of our two meals was about .50 more than noted on the menu.
A basic down home kitchen nice people clean good food biscuits to die for only one negative; gravy need to be improved
