For me, Callahan's is like going to your crazy but cool Aunt's house

Just came back from dining in at Callahan's great food fresh. Service was even better. If you get the chance to stop in ask for Nikki she's new but knows what she's doing. Very attentive but not overly done. Great additude great services. DON'T FORGET TO TIP! These young people are working hard and appreciation should be shown.

Called in a carry out for 630 food seemed like it had been sitting there for some time. Ordered a wrap w no tomatoes got tomatoes and moldy looking lettuce and a kids burger with ketchup mustard and extra pickle. Got two pickles. No ketchup no mustard. Pork tenderloin was good hut wasnt asked what sodes i want. Thanfully she listened when i said fries. The girl who answered and took the ordered sounded like she was working as a favor. Doubt she wrote anything down. Really disappointed because I raved about how fantastic this place was to my husband....I get covid and short staffed but to rhe girl who answered the phone if you're not going to do your job. Don't do it. Don't jack up other people's food because you don't want to be there. Period.

I should have turned around and walked back out after I walked up to the counter to put our name in. The hostess was rude and rolled her eyes at me and sighed when I asked for a table for 7. She acted like I was asking for the whole restaurant. She never said anything and walked away leaving me to wonder what she was doing….and after several minutes a manager came and said we could be seated in about 10 minutes. No problem I wasn’t expecting to be seated right away but would have been nice if hostess wasn’t so rude and had a attitude. Next we got a table and things did not go well either. Had to ask for refills, food order was not correct and fish was cold and rubbery. Ordered the all you could eat fish and was hoping the second batch would be better but waiter never came back to offer it so we never had the chance. Overpaid for nasty food plus we looked on website at the menu before leaving and fish price said $9.99 but got charged $14.99. Very disappointing that we spent half a days pay for overpriced cold food and had lousy service. WILL NEVER GO BACK. Don’t go unless you want to get charged for food you don’t get. And get lousy service. Sure wish I would not have decided to try this place.

I enjoyed the restaurant; however, I felt uncomfortable there. I am not sure why. It's not that we didn't feel safe, but more like we walked in 10 minutes before closing and placed a big order. Our waitress was funny, kept the drinks coming, and was friendly. As was everyone we interacted with.
