Salvatore - El Vendrell

In the little town of El Vendrell is this little restaurant with seating out in Plaça Jaume I. Lots of locals around, menu in Spanish only and wait staff all Spanish speaking as well. But the food is simple, cheap and filling. Their patatas bravas are not your common variety, but instead a plate of hot chips with the picante sauce, which pairs perfectly with the beer. I had their Galician octopus, which was fantastic, especially having the bread to mop up the sauce. I was full, satisfied and even happier that it cost very little considering what I got. I also saw their gigantic toasted sandwiches and they certainly looked good and also well priced. All the wait staff seemed so cheerful as well. For something that is meant to be fast food, it certainly beats other fast food joints I've hit in Spain.

Salvatore does make good sandwiches... And also not so good ones. I wouldn't recommend going for a burger, but rather ordering a flute. Staff was alright, a little too insistant.

Buenas flautas, pide media porque ya llena!Si eres un jabalí no te cortes. Me pedí la media de salchicha con queso y está muy bien. Tienen una variedad de tortillas que hay que echarle el ojo, ya que son caseras.

Tapas muy bien cocinadas. Amabilidad. Precio correcto. Salvatore siempre es una buena opción.
