フィードバックを提供するWe came here on a personal recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. All pasta made in house melted in your mouth. Although priced at $25, try the beef carpaccio app not always on the menu. It's worth it. Also plenty of local wines available by the glass. Overall a great lunch.
Looking for dinner options on google maps and came across Britt's BBQ, so I gave it go. Order the tri tip, brisket, and St. Louis ribs with mac and cheese and BBQ beans as the sides. Portions were generous, House BBQ sauce was excellent, both regular and hot. Food flavor including smokiness was faint, wished it would have been a little stronger. All three meats were on the tough side, both the tri tip and brisket should melt in your mouth and both were a bit chewy. Ribs could of used more time cooking, meat did not fall of the bone as expected.
I wish I would have tried this place sooner! The smoked fried chicken is amazing! Oh, and I could eat the cornbread all day long. The people who work here are really nice and helpful. I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back soon!
The food was excellent : I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of chili mac and ice tea for $14, which I thought was very fair price. Their bbq sauce is the bomb! My husband had the 3 meat combo and was totally happy and took some home because there was so much meat, and my Dad had 1/2 order of short ribs and cleaned his plate. They don't serve alcohol but you can purchase some at the liquor store a few doors down and bring it in to have with your meal, so that made my Dad and husband pretty happy. Overall we had a great experience and our waiter was really nice and had a great personality. We will definitely be going back :
I love Britts...when in the neighborhood, i always do at least one takeout meal for at least 2 people, that must include cornbread! Well, that 's the only rub here that I asked a question, and have never gotten an answer. So, I ask the folks at Britt 's, did you stop putting the corn in the corn bread? Something about the little bit of carmelization of the corn, which I assume has to be from giant can of corn from Restaurant Depot or other supplier . . . which just adds distinct level of added effort....and that became the hangover after-meal dessert you always wished was more for breakfast the next morning....until there was not more corn?! I asked, no comment. Maybe it cost more....but I am paying $70.00 $90.00 with well deserved and generous 20% gratuity (for takeout)....and telling everyone flying in/out of LAX you have to stop at Briit 's , because it makes you feel like you are not in LA for a moment, you are near home , wherever that place is....Briit 's team probably reading this and thinking how mean this review is....and to me, asking for what we found to be especially nice meal ending, may just be a bit corny.
