Restaurant Dos Playas - El Ranchito

The hotel was a very ghetto and the food was disgusting. They had rice beans and stuff I have at home instead of having seafood. The staff was very rude and they would open the restaurant later than planned. I booked the hotel for a week, but after my second day. I tried to fight for my refund they rejected. Please do not get this place because you will regret it as soon as you enter. It looks good in the pictures, but it is depressing when you are in your room and restaurant.

Amazingly rogelio took care of us. I honestly, this restaurant has the best views of xcaret very nice.

I'm sick after dinner here. Very bad stomach pain for hours of trips to the bathroom. Only place in PDC that made me sick

We (party of 5) were there on Monday during our Xcaret adventure. I recommend buying the buffet ticket with a travel agency that sells the vip package (includes park entrance, buffet and one beer per adult), since it is cheaper and more convenient. The food here is overall very good, their specialty is sea food but they do have variety on other types of food (burgers, chicken, meat, etc). Also, very good desserts!

Wife and I got a wonderful huge platter. Lobster, calamari, octopus, salmon, other fish, guacamole, chips, on and on great value. The staff was wonderful and attentive. The Margaritas were huge and tasty. The view on the ocean side is amazing.
