How your name indicates it is a fonda. Do not expect an atmosphere or a lot of attention, but if you are looking for good food at super affordable prices this is the best place in Calafate. The food is excellent and very homemade. Super recommended lamb empanadas and potato pumps.

How happy to find a good place to eat, that besides good meals are fresh made at the moment and MUY ABUNDANTES, but that besides all that has a decent price! In El Calafate you are murdered with prices in restaurants, even a milanesa is worth double here... But luckily there are places like La Fonda with very good prices and variety. It's in the center so it's very easy to get, open at all times so there's always food, ideal for after a hard hike. Absolutely recommended!
