RUBY TUESDAY - El Cajon

The food was good, although they were out of several menu items. Neither I nor my lunch partner were able to order what we originally wanted. Aside from that one inconvenience, the trip was enjoyable. Service was good, and Jazz (our s server) was very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly. We were seated in the bar area where the bartender was responsible for the bar, bar seating and 8-10 tables and she was clearly over worked. More importantly, they were out of many items on the menu. This included items on the salad bar, appetizers and meal items. I had wanted the scallop and shrimp special, the had no scallops. My husband had chicken parmesan, but the pasta had very little sauce since they were low. I had the deconstructed shrimp kabob, very little rice because they were low on rice. The list of what they did not have was fairly long and affected many meals. Not a good night for dining out.

Picking up a call in for myself and friend, 10 minutes at the front entrance then directed to bar, 5 minutes later, someone I could ask about my order, she brings wrong order. Another few minutes she brings correct order. But no there is no honey mustard which I told them ordering,2 please. And only one soda ,also supposed to be 2, a guy ask me what I needed, then he was off to get it, returns few minutes without , then waitress behind bar ask again what I needed, she then ask someone wrapping silverware to get me a coke to go and 2 honey mustard, ltr she brings 1 and 1. #1st/Last

Had a great time service was great and food was delicious.

Food was good. However if you order the crab legs get prepared to use your knife to crack hard shells. They have NO crab crackers at ALL. *we haven't ordered them*
