Greek Chicken - El Cajon

I love this place. It's my favorite in San Diego, El Cajon, Lakeside and Fallbrook. I've taken numerous people to eat here and never regretted it. Stand by to overeat. It's all delicious. I recommend the chicken and the fried zucchini but don't talk to closely to other people the rest of the day; Very garlicky in a good way. The service is good, prices are not to high and it's not rocking loud music so you can chat.

I usually get the gyro plate and a milkshake. The gyro plate comes with crispy golden fries, a great salad topped with feta cheese, sliced pita bread, a huge mound of meat with dill sauce. It's too much food for me to eat in one sitting, so I take down the fries and some of the meat on the pita bread and save the salad and remaining meat for lunch the next day.The shakes are decent for the price, and I got the pineapple the last time I visited. Chunks of pineapple clogged the straw so I used a spoon to finish.Fast, efficient service.

We ordered 2 fish dinners, dinners came out 5 minutes, apart and the fish was mushy, I took mine back, they cooked up another plate, and it was also mushy,I ate one piece and took the rest home to the cat .I think they need to keep and handle their frozen fish better .I had eaten there and at their other locations in El Cajon and Lakeside.And never experienced this problem.Their food has always been high quality and tasty.This time the cat got a $20 meal.

Amazes me that there are not more of these. Food is great and excellent value. The real winner is the consistency. I have been to this place hundreds of times and never had a bad experience.Food: 5/5

I did the drive-through window and the food and it was hot. It was too hot to hold the french fries lol. Unlike other places where it is just warm.Their food is so tasty and seasoned right.Don't miss out on some great food and service. ??Food: 5/5
