Mcalister's Deli - Effingham

I didn't even want to give him a star, but I had to. The worst food I ever had. I can usually eat badly, but that was terrible!!!! I will never go there again or order from there! It looked like coke on a plate and that was after I had taken a bite.

We were sitting in the car for over 30 minutes. Spent 10 on the window itself is waiting for someone to come and let us pay and give us our drinks. The staff was in there to talk and get around and ignore us. When we finally paid, we sat for another 20 or more, waiting for them to take the food out. When we finally showed up, we entered to see what the problem was, and our food sat on the counter with 2 other orders waiting to be brought out. We have a sandwich and soup. The sandwich was soggy and cold that it told us? I would give them mercy if they were busy and if we were the first time? ve had problems but it wasn't and according to other reviews we are not the only ones. We were the only car in the drive through the line when we ordered and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot. Last time we tried to eat here, the person on the intercom would not stop joking around long enough to order us. We went back and forth several times and tried to submit our order. I'm all for having fun at work, but not when it becomes a problem, and we can't even order our food without long-convenient side sweat and unnecessary comments. We were so frustrated. We ate here all the time. It was one of my favorite places in town. Unfortunately, we won't be back soon.

The new manager Ali was wonderful. She took our little ones and told us about it? Children's corner? that was a shelf full of small children's toys and puzzles. Great service all around.

Terriblely managed. This is literally the only McAlister I've ever been disappointed with. There were more tables that need to be cleaned when it was clean. Very slow, sandwiches were not on quality of other shops, and dirty. Definitely skip this one.

Front Cashier was very rude during ordering, felt very rushed. Had no lettuce, only 2 people working in the back kitchen. Overpriced and the food was bland. Overall a very bad experience, will never go back. ?
