Phenix Bar Restaurant - Edmore

I visited this restaurant for the first time since they relocated, and it was the worst experience I've had. My burger was undercooked! The waitress claimed that they prepare them medium-well, but it was more like medium-rare. Initially, they said they could remake it but might charge me for the new one—how ridiculous! However, after about five minutes, they finally agreed to make me a new burger. We decided to leave before eating, though.

A great upscale bar and grill in Elmore! My group visited after a race at the Mid-Michigan Motorplex, and Phenix Bar is just a short 5-minute drive from the track. We were seated right away. I ordered the Phenix Burger, and it was fantastic. Another member of our party tried the fish special, which was quite good. The service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I definitely plan to come back on my next trip to Mid-Michigan.

The food was really disappointing. The cook didn't wear a mask or gloves and even handled the food directly with his hands. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I won't be returning.

The experience was enjoyable until they relocated. The club sandwich was extremely soggy, making it necessary to use a knife and fork, and it didn't taste good at all. After several years of visiting, we’ve decided not to return.

I've been there twice, and both the food and the staff are fantastic! I will definitely be returning.
