Shah's Kitchen Just Donairs - Edmonton

I came here for the first time last week and now I think it’s of my favourite food spots the city. The food is delicious, freshly made, and served hot. Flavour is incredible and you can tell a lot of hard work is put into creating the dishes. I recommend stopping by for the great service or ordering through a 3rd party if you can’t make it in person. Thank you Lida and team!

Fantastic food!!! All original recipes, the lamb shank is unbelievable and her rice with raisins and carrots is so delicious. Portions are generous and the atmosphere is laid back. The donairs are massive and soooo good. The sign outside says Just Donairs as they have not changed it since taking over the business but they offer so much more! This place will not disappoint!!

Stopped here on a bit of a whim when I saw the donair sign on the building. The beef donair was AMAZING, fresh pita and nicely spiced meat. My husband had the lamb shank and raved about its great flavour and huge portions. We shared a mango shake, made with real mango delicious! Friendly and quick service as well. Definitely try this place!

The Sign outside is called Just donairs but the menu is almost everything but donairs. Anyhow, I tried the donair last night, it was ok. Couple things i want to point out. First the donair meat was coarsely choped up, which is ok but but not what im use to. 2nd the pita wrapped in some paperish thing, so it stuck to the pita wrap. So when you unravel it would tear the pita and everything would fall out, same with every bite. It was because of the corsely chopped meat, very annoying,.3rd, i asked for sweet sauce... it wasnt the same sweet sauce im used to. Anyhow it was ok and filled the void. I would describe it as a hot messy mess... Wont be going back or recommending. there are better places near by.
