Needle Vinyl Tavern - Edmonton

Attended saturday night live reggae band "Soulja fyah". they were great, and I had an excellent time. Drinks were decent and not too expensive.

Yup live entertainment downtown on Jasper Avenue. We where there for happy hour and the wings the pretzel fondu and the service was great. The trio playing was entertaining and would love to go back one day for the latter show.

This place has a very lively vibe and it was nice to be sitting outside on such a lovely evening. The menu comes printed on a vinyl record sleeve, and the drinks are printed on the record itself. This was the fourth place I've been to during my trip that was out of the IPA on tap - the server said she could bring me a bottled one but it turned out to be a pretty weak Pale so I don't think she knew the difference, I guess Canada still doesn't really do IPAs or doesn't understand them. Anyway, I had the tandoori chicken which was good but not great, but really the reason to go here is because of the outdoor space and the music and the energy.

I had beers and a vegan flatbread with fries one warm evening on the terrasse. I was happy to find a vegan option and it was actually pretty decent.

Great veggie burgers. Good beer choice. Every performance that I've seen there has been of quality. I've been maybe a dozen times and it's always impressed me. Only bad experience was when the kitchen had run out of what we ordered, twice. Situation was handled very well and they comp'd us the food.
