Prices are high and the cashier/owner was not friendly at all and left me waiting while he did something behind the counter for a few minutes. No hello, good bye, have a nice say or thank you. I'll stick with 7-11 from now on.
This was probably once a deli and grocery, but now it's just a grocery. They have a small cold case labeled sandwiches, but the evening I stopped in, there was only one sandwich in it. No evaluation of it as a grocery. I was looking for a picnic at the beach. Fortunately, there is a deli next door.
The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere, but I found it quite concerning. I witnessed the owners taking Seattle Times newspapers from the donor outside the business and selling them for profit. It seems like they were caught since the donor is no longer there. Additionally, I noticed that they serve customers who aren't wearing masks. If you’re wary of COVID-19 or business owners who disregard public health and safety regulations, I recommend avoiding this place.
The place has a strange vibe—it's unsettling, and the staff doesn't seem to be having much fun either. Prices are quite high for what you get. However, if it’s 11 o'clock at night and you’re craving cheap beer, a bag of Funyuns, and some shackle leaf white bread, where else can you turn? Just a tip: keep an eye on the expiration dates of the items you purchase. Trust me on that.
The restaurant has a good selection, but I found it to be overpriced. Additionally, the staff and owners were not particularly friendly.
