Fine dining in Oklahoma. Beautiful place, food, and service. I hope to be back. Be prepared to spend $130+ per person but it’ll be worth it. Wonderful experience.
Went there with the wife for her birthday and chose the tasting menu. Restaurant decor was nice and elegant, but the food left much to be desired. Obviously the portions were small but flavors should pack a punch being that this is a high end French restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive and explained each dish as it came out. The cheese plate was bad. I wish I could give it a better rating but ultimately it came down to the taste and my wife and I thought they failed MISERABLY.
This French restaurant is amazing! Authentic French cuisine in beautiful presentation paired expertly with great wine. The tasting menu was truly divine delicious. The ambiance and environment was romantic and private.
Doug and I had the privilege of dining at Fait Maison's third night in OKC. If you want something other than chicken fried steak or a monster t-bone, check out this exquisite new restaurant that is like no other in Oklahoma. Owned by my friend Susan Wedel and co-owner and chef Olivier Bouzerand (straight from France), the intimate atmosphere is gorgeous and the service is attentive, professional, knowledgeable and not the least snobby. Fait Maison means homemade in French, and everything here is, including the delicious variety of warm breads generously served throughout the meal. The starters and soups will satisfy the sophisticated palates, and well, us OKies. Be prepared for plenty of surprise tastings between courses and sit back and enjoy the experience. Entrees include seafood, lamb, duck and yes, a filet mignon if you must. Desserts will require confession because they are sinful. I gussied up a bit for the experience, but hey, it's OKC, so anything goes.
