Revolution Old Town - Edinburgh

Absolutely fantastic! Mirren hosted and made us feel very welcome along with her colleague Finn! I was great fun and they gave us lots of laughs. Keep it up guys! We had a ball!

What a fantastic place, of us did cocktails did gins,myself did cocktails,so much fun n so many shots..Finn our barman was fantastic,he did a great job of showing then letting us get on with the cocktail, so,so much fun...well done Finn,you had a lot to put up with,with us rowdy bunch....

Yesterday had a booking for a henne of over 20. unfortunately it was not booked in time for the expected 2 meal, so we had a selection of party food. there were not very many veggie options sad, only pizza and pitta brot! there was calamari, chicken spears, sweet potatoes and burger pourer. the Burger-Back was twice as large and the burger was quite dry. drinks are good-but not enough waiting staff on the size of the place! I wanted to take an old one to serve.

As a student, revolution edinburgh is one of my favorite places in edinburgh. I was invited to try their new menu and it was not disappointed. I had the classic steak sandwich* and it was absolutely amazing. I exchanged her thin pommes for the sweet potatoes and I am so glad that I did it, they were so delicious! really crispy, but soft on the inside. I have the sandwich that came with scab, crispy swash and rocket, absolutely torn off. if they are a student, then they probably know someone with a clubs and company card that they can also get some great discounts.

I was here a few times to meet colleagues and friends for lunch. great place and usually good food. I like their burger and love the thin options available, but I think at this opportunity they must have been a bad day. I chose the brooklyn chicken that is in buttermilk with the sweet potato chips. Unfortunately, that was a bit too long in the deep frise until I could hardly get my teeth through them. redeeming functions is the sweet potatories possibly one of the best places in edinburgh that they can make! and they make a medium cup tee.
