Café Vigo - Edinburgh

At first glance, we found the prices on the menu to be a bit high, but the portion sizes were generous and the food was delicious. The café was bustling and noisy, but the staff were efficient and welcoming. The place could use a bit of a renovation/update.

My mother and I decided to have breakfast at this restaurant. I ordered the Mediterranean dish and my mother had the smoked salmon bagel. Both meals were delicious, fresh, and of high quality. The service was excellent as well. The menu offers a wide variety of options, so we plan on returning for lunch in the future. Additionally, we also took some cheesecakes to go for later.

Chose this as preferable to the Holiday Inn. Breakfast is an easy thing to get wrong. Lots of elements -sausage, bacon, french toast,eggs, coffee, it's very rare to get everything right, but they did. Busy place but service was excellent. Went in grumpy, came out full and happy. Recommended!

Pleasant cafe with good assortment of breakfast options Turkish breakfast was original and tasty. One of us enjoyed their Hagas wrap! Setting was fine for breakfast and deserts looked good, but didn’t try them Service was alright, but a generally unpleasant group of young servers

The restaurant offers fantastic, freshly made food and delicious coffee in a welcoming environment. Highly recommended- I even went back the following day!
