The Plumed Horse - Edinburgh, City of

As you probably already know, I really enjoy dining out and it is one of my favorite things to do. So I was thrilled to attend the Zomato meet up at the Plumed Horse. This restaurant caught my eye as it has received numerous awards since its opening and is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining!

If you are looking for a sophisticated dining experience or celebrating a special occasion, you should consider trying out The Plumed Horse. Located in Leith near the shore, my friends and I visited the restaurant last week and were impressed by the overall presentation of the place and our table. The waiter kindly took our coats and showed us to our table by the window. We were given menus to choose from, with the option of going for the à la carte menu or a tasting menu. Opting for the tasting menu allowed us to sample a variety of dishes we may not have otherwise tried, giving us a chance to explore different flavors and expand our palates. What a delightful experience it was to be welcomed by Zomato UK and Chef Tony Borthwick for a dinner at the exquisite Plumed Horse in Leith. As a fan of foodie bloggers like Lunchquest, LeilAppetit, SeeEmilyyPlay, and UrbanTraveller (Andrea) Grant from Zomato UK, we all opted for the tasting menu with wine pairings. Although I typically prefer wine, I decided to switch things up after my recent blog post on beer and food pairings. It was a tough decision, but ultimately a rewarding one.

I love this place, it is quiet and underestimated, but with great attentive service and beautifully presented dine. I love the visual aspekt of the food on a teller and that is a visual firm for the eyes; they do it so well that some dishes I do not want to touch/eat. the description of the dishes excites them and then they dive with taste and texture as soon as they taste them. highly recommended

Had an excellent lunch. Food very good and service attentive without being obtrusive. Lunch is very good value as well as being good quality.
