The Baked Potato Shop

Really tasty food, i never had potato in this way before. I got so exited so i forgot to take a picture. I hade a large (and it was large) potato with chilli (hot filling), butter and cheese. Its to bad that this is my last day in scotland otherwise i would go back tomorrow. It was not expensive for that big portion and was on the royal mile So i went back to Edinburgh from sweden so i could have the same potato again, haha of it was one of the reasons. We visited the Baked Potato Shop a couple of times during our stay in Edinburgh and it was great both times. The portions are really generous and it’s good value for such a central location. I tried the curried sweetcorn, chickpea salad and haggis toppings and they were all great.

Heard great stuff about this place and wasn’t disappointed ! reasonably priced for what you get and the service was good, really nice staff. would definitely go back !!

Lots of options available. Ordered the haggis and it was amazing, really cheap but good food.

You pay for a simple potato with a filling which is exactly what you get, not more not less.
