Trendy atmosphere but lacking in both service and food quality. Our straightforward order was neglected, with multiple menu items unavailable. Overall, an entirely unmemorable dining experience.

I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious bowl of butternut squash and roasted almond soup. My friend loved the homemade sausage rolls, saying they were fantastic. We ended our meal with a gluten-free lemon cake. They had a fantastic selection of homemade cakes to choose from. Overall, a great experience!

The Meanwhile Cafe is a noticeable step down from its previous establishment. The atmosphere felt oddly stagnant, the service was lacking focus, and the food quality was inconsistent.

Meanwhile cafe is a lovely little spot to watch the world go by. They are quirky with chalkboards, fake grass and jam jar glasses! We all had chicken and bacon sandwiches with cauliflower soup really really good! Their service was a little on the slow side but they apologised for that because they were really busy. Overall a great place for a catch up coffee, or bringing a visitor to eat.

Grabbed a quick lunch yesterday with my lovely lady, and it was superb. Two mains, two soft drinks, a puddie, coffee tea all for £18 served on bone china!!! But the price was irrelevant because the quality and taste were superb. Would happily have paid double. And they didn't even charge me or make a fuss when I dropped the tea pot lid and smashed it. Friendly people too.
