Taco Palenque Edinburg

This is definitely my favorite late-night taco spot. Their fajitas are unbeatable when those late-night cravings strike! However, I recommend double-checking your order, as they often get it wrong. They do correct it, but dealing with the mix-up can be frustrating every time I go. Other than that, the food is always delicious!

My tacos were overloaded with rice and had hardly any meat, which was really unappetizing. The fideo soup tasted like it had been sitting out all day—soggy and lacking flavor. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not meet expectations. The staff seemed disinterested, as if they were selling food from their own kitchen and didn’t care about quality. They weren't willing to prepare the orders properly or present them well. If I wanted rice and beans, I could make them myself at home, and they would taste much better. Satisfaction doesn’t seem to matter to them; they just want to sell food, regardless of the quality. At this point, I can’t recommend this location in Edinburg. I left without my meal and felt very unsatisfied. It’s a shame.

Karla and the rest of the staff are amazing! They helped me with my Spanish, and when I was a few cents short, they took care of my order and made me feel much better about the situation. I eat here regularly and have consistently had wonderful experiences. If you're looking for delicious, quick Mexican food with the friendliest staff, this is the place to be!

Eduardo not only took my order and reduced my waiting time so quickly. Soon he served his guest with beautiful desserts. I went with the most delicious authentic Mexican dishes and their handmade desserts are the perfect pleasure to fill an empty stomach. Quality service and great tasting.

Really good Mexican food. It's a little difficult to order if you don't know some Spanish. You prices are on the higher side but the food is worth it. There is always a long line at the Trenton location so be prepared to wait a little while. It's not taco bell its taco P and it's a really big difference. I'll go back again.
