Sushi Cruise - Edgewater

The management seems so nice. Our waitress could've done much better. The other other waitress was superb. Wish she was serving my table. The sushi and sashimi platter (most expensive one) was disappointing. The arrangement had no special elements. Just plain sushi. One California roll added. There was tuna and salmon sushi, then tuna and salmon sasimi. There was too much salmon that everyone that l was with didn't really want to eat the same things. I've been to plenty of sushi spots and the party platter had a much better selection and assortment. The cost was too steep for the sushi. Not impressed. I think the rolls would've been much better and much less expensive. I will give it another shot one day just for the rolls. The outside seating is worth going there, it seems nice but not enough seating.Kid-friendliness: I saw families there with their children.

Hands down my favorite sushi place. Been a sushi fan my whole life and out of all sushi places this is my favorite sushi place! Always fresh. Great service, clean restaurant. If you want to try something different get the dynamite rolls!Food: 5/5

Love the location. You’re on a pier overlooking NYC. Food is good well priced. It’s BYOB , so you really save . I come here frequently in the warmer monthsFood: 4/5

Arrived at the restaurant 2:02 pm , was only one table occupied and hosting lady was super friendly and very quick seated us outside . Ordered couple things wile my wife went to restroom for few minutes, server was very pushy when told me that I had to order right away since restaurant closes soon, asked for couple minutes and less then a minute after he returned for the order that my girl asked again for couple minutes and he insisted that restaurant was closing and had to get the order then to don’t create an issue ordered few things and got the the initial order on the table that we eating half away and he got at the table asking if we finished already and my wife very calmed told him we still eating then before we finished he was removing the dishes and bringing the rolls then he was pushing again to we finish fast at that point was 2:39pm and the host brought two new couples and as soon the seated the same guy start to be hostile with those customers then after couple minutes my blood was boiling then left the food and I asked my girl to we leave , went inside to pay the bill and explained to the person at print desk the very unexpected situation since I was a customer for last 5 years at least and to my surprise the manager or cashiers tried to tell me that was my problem that arrived too late.Same thing happens with another couple friends of ours and I remember that I mentioned to them that I could not believe since service was always good.They just lost a customer.God bless all.

Food is okay but the service is terrible! We don’t recommend and we’re not coming back! We arrived there at 2:10 on Saturday and as soon as we sit at the table the waitress told us that was last call for food. We asked 2 minutes to take a look at the menu and in this short period of time he came back 3 times at the table putting a lot of pressure on us. In rush we decided to have 2 miso soup, 1 tuna tartare and 2 rolls. They brought the rolls and the tartare and forget about the soup. While we’re eating the waitress came at the table many times trying to remove our plates while we’re eating (with food at the plate). We arrived at 2:10 and more tables arrived after us, so we didn’t understand the rush to put us out! Was extremely uncomfortable to eat in this rush, we understand the rush to take the order but was inconvenient by this point.By 2:40 we went to pay the bill and my husband mentioned that to the manager about this bad experience and service because it wasn’t the first time they have done that to us.We were customers there for many years and one hour before closes they hurry up the guests.The manager told us that as a customers we should now the hours of service and that was extremely disrespectful to us. When we left there was more than 5 tables with families eating. They really don’t care about quality of service and customers there. The view is beautiful, the food is okay, but I will never spend my money there again and I would never recommend this place to anyone! Avoid this place if you want a decent service! Really bad experience!
