Krispy Krunchy Chicken Outpost Citgo

I stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The gizzards were just as delicious as the ones I usually get in DeLand, and this place is much closer to home. I'm excited to try more of their dishes!

Don't be fooled this is NOT your average gas station fried chicken. These guys have this recipe down! Flavorful, Chrispy, extra juicy. The rolls compare Church's chicken with the sweet glaze and the rice and beans taste just like Popeye's but paired with savory chicken. Make sure you make it early, made it right before the 11am lunch rush but the line quickly backed up.

The prices at this restaurant are quite high, and the cashier always appears unfriendly, often wearing a blank expression that seems almost desperate. The chicken is fairly good, but they seldom have it available in the evenings; instead, they offer various chicken promotions at appealing prices. I felt cheated during one of my visits, and although I brushed it off, it happened again a few weeks later when she took my lottery winnings. I won’t be coming back!
