Joy Luck Chinese - Edgewater

When we first moved here about two years ago, this place was surprisingly good for a small, tucked-away restaurant. They were always busy but still managed to be accommodating. However, over the last eight months or so, the food has become bland and eventually inedible. I initially thought it might be a different cook on certain days, but now I suspect they've lost their talented chef because my last five orders have only gotten worse. Unfortunately, I can't eat here anymore. Service: Takeout.

I highly recommend this restaurant! Although the place appeared a bit worn, the egg rolls were the best I've had in years. My only complaint was that the fortune cookies were stale, but the food itself was outstanding. Here's my rating: Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 2. I enjoyed my takeout lunch!

Horrible experience. I never ever leave bad reviews but I had to for my experience here. The lady was rushing me to order on the phone. I get there the place is an absolute mess (which I would be fine with if the service and food was good). From the moment I was at the counter to the time I left everyone was extremely rude. I left and my food was not right, nor good. Will never return here again. Service: Take out
