Behind The Bookstore - EDGARTOWN

This is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a coffee in their backyard garden. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, with a bar option available as well. The food is delicious, featuring a few vegetarian and vegan choices for lunch, such as hummus tapas, avocado toast, salads, and grilled cheese. I tried the Impossible Burger (without cheese) for lunch, and it was fantastic, served with fries and a delicious cold brew! My family also enjoyed the chicken avocado sandwich. It's definitely worth a visit, even if it's just for a drink.

It's a lovely place that's a bit off the main path. I only had breakfast there, but I'd love to come back and try their lunch or dinner options.

I was thrilled to discover Edgartown Books during my recent trip to Martha's Vineyard. The shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and I was impressed by the staff's extensive knowledge and willingness to recommend some fantastic reads. The veranda furniture is perfect for settling down with a book while enjoying the view of the world before strolling down Main Street. It was truly a delightful experience! Also, I have to mention that the restaurant located behind the bookstore is absolutely amazing—family-friendly with delicious food!

The staff are fantastic, and I really appreciate that the restaurant supports local artists. Highly recommended!

This bookstore is one of my first stops whenever I arrive on the island. For many years, my siblings and I have been getting our summer reading books here, and the staff is consistently helpful, attentive, and friendly. If they don’t have the book you’re looking for in their extensive selection, they are more than willing to order it for you!
