Little Italy - Eastbourne

The restaurant offers fantastic food, a delightful atmosphere, and excellent service. The fact that they are dog-friendly is a great bonus. We each ordered different main dishes and everyone was thoroughly impressed.

Surprisingly, we were then asked by the waiter or paying machine if we wanted to add an additional 10%, 15%, or 20% tip to the bill. When we mentioned that a 10% tip had already been included, the waiter claimed they were unaware and it was simply added automatically. After collectively paying £228, we finished our drinks and prepared to leave. However, we were aggressively stopped by the owner and staff, claiming they had forgotten to include some drinks in the bill, demanding an extra £45. While we would have been willing to pay, the accusatory manner in which they handled the situation completely ruined the otherwise enjoyable evening. Despite having been loyal customers in the past, we will not be returning to this restaurant. I urge future patrons to thoroughly review their bill and be cautious of potential double tipping scams.

The restaurant was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for accommodating us. We will definitely be back.

Popped in by chance. Very lovely traditional Italian restaurant. Kept thinking Al Pacino would walk in. Staff all very smart and suited. True Italian vibe. They squeezed booking in on a very very busy Saturday. Pizza was lovely. Service excellent. Vibe chilled Italian. Thanks
