We used to visit the Charlie Brown’s in Highland Park before it closed, and we really hope this location stays open because they serve some of the best grilled steaks in New Jersey. I still have a soft spot for it!

I ordered the French diving sandwich for lunch, and it was excellent. They also offer a beautiful burger. The salad bar is impressively fresh with a great selection, which is becoming rare in restaurants nowadays, making it a wonderful addition. The steaks are consistently delicious for a restaurant of this caliber, and their special menu items are often quite intriguing. However, I have noticed that the service can sometimes be slow or lackluster, particularly in the bar seating area. I've found myself needing to get up to ask a server for things like the check or steak sauce, which can be inconvenient. If they focused more on training their staff and improving customer service, they would definitely earn my five-star rating. I plan to return and give it another try.
