フィードバックを提供するCozy, unassuming spot with a fun atmosphere and friendly folks! I enjoyed the open mic that they have on Sundays, and the friend chicken dinner was tasty... Will definitely visit again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A lot of people in the community are saying that this bar is racist. Most of the people have the same story.
Zoe, the bartender, is exceptional. She really stands out compared to the average bartender in similar establishments and crafted fantastic cocktails like a Manhattan and a Sidecar. I often have trouble finding bartenders in U.S. bars who are familiar with these drinks. She's also a pleasure to talk to and makes sure to check in on guests to see if they need refills. However, the bar does have some individuals with racist attitudes, which creates a negative atmosphere. As someone who is neither white nor American, I personally didn’t experience any major issues besides a few jokes, but I did overhear the use of the N-word and jokes targeting African Americans while I was there.
Price per person: $20–30 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Parking: Ample parking available Parking Options: Free parking lot
I previously worked at this establishment, and I found the kitchen to be unsanitary, with cooks who did not maintain cleanliness either in themselves or in the restaurant. The clientele is predominantly racist, and the owner, Randy, along with his son Unch, exhibit extremely racist attitudes. Their circle of friends shares similar views. I am baffled as to how Cahokia allows this bar to operate. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 1 out of 5.
