Vanilla Ice Cream Parlour

The service at this restaurant is fantastic! The cleanliness is impressive and the sundaes are amazing! The employees were always cleaning and wiping down surfaces. I highly recommend this place, it's definitely worth a visit. The staff is very polite.

I visited this restaurant on the afternoon of September 13th, 2023, where two male servers were working. Our order was delivered promptly and tasted delicious. However, I felt uneasy when a young woman arrived with a small dog, accompanied by a couple of other people who seemed to be acquainted with the older of the two servers. He held the dog in his arms, petting and fussing over it. After they left, I noticed him serving the next customer a cone of ice cream without washing his hands first. He also did not wear gloves, which I found to be unsanitary. This practice is unacceptable and left me feeling disgusted.

The restaurant is designed as a classic American ice cream parlor, but with a modern twist. It is very clean, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food is exceptional – the cakes, milkshakes, everything is just perfect. I highly recommend this place.

Sundaes massive not what I was expecting took a while to finish and real good milkshakes well worth it ……………………………..

The biggest no no that really put me off was that the staff (mostly youngish women) did not seem to adhere to proper hygiene routine before preparing food. It really put me off and had I seen that before ordering I would have wandered off. I watched more than one server eating a sandwich behind the serving counter where food is prepared. That is off putting. And it happened more than once with other staff also eating . So, instead of ordering ice creams, we decided to leave. It is a shame as we have been a number of times in previous years and happily eating men ice creams as a family tradition. I think that tradition ends this year.
