Beautiful pub beautiful setting Unfortunately that’s where it ends Had Sunday lunch the beef was inedible full of gristle Fish n chips was nice but fish was tiny Burger was ok but came with pork on top which again was gristle Kids pizza came 15 minutes after we’d all been served but he wouldn’t eat it said it tasted funny We told the server who didn’t bat an eyelid took the Sunday lunch and pizza off the bill Very disappointed

Nice atmosphere olde world pub very friendly staff and catered for dogs went on a rainy afternoon had an extremely pleasant time

We just had a wonderful Sunday dinner here, from the moment we stepped in the team were so welcoming gave you the best service you could wish for, really looked after us, the restaurant looked beautifully furnished had a lovely warm atmosphere, the food was amazing from there wonderful chef who made sure you had the best of the best, not only did the food look stunning on your plate, it was delicious, a feast for your taste buds! You would have to be crazy not to visit this wonderful gem of a pub,

Amazing Sunday lunch yesterday, we had the beef and turkey. Cooked to perfection, great flavours, large portion size and absolutely love the revamp. Stylish, warm, rustic country chic. All staff warm and welcoming and on hand. Can’t wait to return and sample the other menus and food on offer

We have been regulars at The Bay Horse, which has just undergone an extensive makeover and change of management, for a long time. Yesterday was the first day of their new Sunday Lunch menu, so we booked a table to give it a try and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Despite the pub being very busy with both drinkers and diners, our food arrived right on time and was the best Sunday roast I've ever eaten there. The staff and managers were keen to get feedback and to make sure there were no problems (which there weren't). In recent weeks we have also tried the evening restaurant menu and the bar tapas menu and have been happy with everything we've eaten. Obviously no review of a pub would be complete without a mention of the beer and we are happy with that too! It is also important to mention the new managers (Jay Chelsey) and their staff, who provide such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to you all
