Caffe Nero - East Riding of Yorkshire

My partner and I stopped by on Saturday with our well-behaved dog for a hot drink and lunch. The restaurant was quite busy, so we found a quiet corner to sit in. Unfortunately, the floor was visibly dirty and hadn't been cleaned in several days, so we had to keep our dog on our laps. Despite being in the food industry ourselves, we noticed that the almond and raspberry croissants were labeled incorrectly, which could be dangerous for those with nut allergies. We ordered chicken and bacon toasted sandwiches, but they were lacking in filling and had a strong garlic flavor not mentioned in the description. My partner couldn't finish hers, and I didn't enjoy mine. When I went to the restroom, I found it even dirtier than the dining area, covered in dust. Upon returning, I overheard other patrons complaining about dirty and sticky tables. My partner informed me that while I was away, the staff had asked her to put our dog on the floor, even though he was well-behaved sitting on our laps. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. Despite being busy, we believe that basic standards like cleanliness and proper food labeling should be priorities, not luxuries.

The service was excellent at this restaurant. The coffee was delightful and served by two friendly employees with smiling faces. The butchers row shop had delicious toasted tea cakes that were very enjoyable to pop in and try.

I stopped by this restaurant for a coffee and catch up on a hot, sunny Friday. Although there were no outdoor seats available due to the weather, there was plenty of room upstairs with a nice window view overlooking the market place. The coffee was superb, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. This is definitely one of my favorite cafes to visit in Beverley.

Usually love coffee here but.... Terrible iced cappuccino and iced Americano. Iced cappuccino was warm no ice and iced americano disgusting like water.
