Red Mountain Cafe - East Mesa

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the service is excellent. However, the booth seats appear to be quite worn and lacking in padding, which made for a slightly uncomfortable dining experience.

I was hoping to enjoy this cafe, but unfortunately I can't say that I did. My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich and I got a patty melt. The Reuben was mediocre, nothing special that couldn't be found at a chain restaurant like Denny's. The patty melt, on the other hand, was a complete disappointment. The sourdough was barely toasted and seemed to be slathered in margarine. There were hardly any onions, and the burger itself lacked flavor. It makes me wonder if they even seasoned the meat before cooking it.
