フィードバックを提供するI was suspicious of the many positive reviews, but my daughter and I were very hungry and decided to try. I have to say, if you don't like this restaurant, you just don't like Chinese food. The service was fast with refills. The quality of the buffet is excellent. I would recommend a visit!
New owner ship new everything!! The food is really good. great taste and for a great price! Different sushi selections during lunch and dinner. also cant forget that they have a chocolate fountain...very yummy indeed.:
For comparison, I've enjoyed meals at several highly regarded places like Gastroteca in Astoria, Queens, Keste/Don Antonio in NYC, Houston's/Hillstone, Sarabeth's Cafe, and MP Taverna, among many others. While I appreciate fine dining, I also know plenty of affordable and incredibly tasty spots. However, when it comes to buffets, this one delivers fantastic food at a great price. It’s possible that some negative reviews are outdated—friends of mine who didn’t like it over three years ago recently dined here with me and were pleasantly surprised by the quality now. Perhaps the ownership has changed, or different chefs are in the kitchen now. Whatever the reason, this place stands out and is worth seeking out for a delicious meal on a budget. Another thing to note is that it tends to be a quiet venue—most diners come for lunch and dinner, so you typically see just a few tables filled at a time. These patrons are smart because they’re taking full advantage of the buffet! The owner is friendly, the buffet is well-stocked, and I must mention that the sushi and hibachi offerings are also quite good. One neutral (not negative) aspect I should mention is the dessert selection. I enjoy dessert, and while the offerings here are decent, they are basic—think caramel, strawberry, or chocolate cake, cookies, soft-serve ice cream, and fresh fruits like peaches, lychees, and grapes, along with chocolate fondue and marshmallows for dipping. The quality is good for what you pay, although don’t expect a gourmet dessert selection; this place excels in providing good meals at a reasonable price. I look forward to seeing this restaurant maintain its consistency in both pricing and food quality because, let’s be honest, when I’m hungry, I want to be impressed!
While the menu options were limited, the food was fresh and delicious, even though we arrived just an hour before closing. To our surprise, we received some take-home food for free since it was late. The sushi we ordered was particularly tasty. For such a small and inexpensive place, it’s definitely worth a visit.
The NEW China Buffet is fantastic! They've revamped the decor with authentic Chinese artwork, refreshed the restrooms (which is definitely an important part of the dining experience), and updated the buffet menu. They've also introduced an incredible sushi bar for those of us seeking more variety! I've been a loyal supporter of this restaurant for years, and I must say that the new venue brings fresh ideas that make it worth returning. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the owner adds a special personal touch with his presence. If you've had a negative experience in the past, don't give up just yet! This is a new place with a revitalized atmosphere and an entirely new experience! I can't wait for the GRAND RE-OPENING!!!
