The menu is expansive! The fresh tanks smelled fresh, looked clean and well kept. The buffet was offered and we were politely informed it was the end of their time. What was out was it. We choose to order off the menu. My mouth and brain wanted more but my stomach said enough! We split the spicy shrimp wontons. Steamed and fried dumplings. And combo of roast duck/pork belly. Definitely took food home. Definitely will return. I agree the atmosphere is kinda flat but it was clean. Staff was every friendly. This is NOT your Americanized Chinese buffet with overwhelming options. This feels authentic and carefully prepared.
Authentic Cantonese food in East Lansing! Food is always so fresh and quickly cooked. Service personnel are always beautiful and fast.
First visit. Traveling the state try international cuisine since the move to MI from CA in the last winter. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes they offered. Some very authentic and difficult dishes. Ordered duck, bbq pork and dry garlic steak as our main dishes. They were amazing. The steak was tender, but had a slight noise outside. The pig had exactly the right amout of the sweet and the duck skin was super crispy! We also ordered the spicy shrimp dumplings, seemed pig dumplings and fried Calamari. The spicy shrimps were spicy, but not so much that it didn't want you anymore. I could have eaten alone! The bare dumplings cooked well and the pig filling was delicious. The Kalamari was roasted deep in a light bread period. They had a salt and pepper taste, absolutely delicious! It was worth the 2.5 hours drive. We will definitely try again, more of the menu!
Without a doubt, this is the best Cantonese restaurant in the city, consistently maintaining a high standard. Make sure to save the photos! The chefs must be seasoned masters from Guangzhou or Hong Kong. My family's favorite dish is definitely the seafood pan-fried noodles, but honestly, everything here is fantastic. Don’t settle for the buffet; order from the menu and experience all the delicious options available.
