Espresso Royale - East Lansing

This Espresso Royale is definitely out of the way for me, but on a day off where I need to get a lot of studying/work done, this is an excellent spot to do so. The main attraction for me is that it is a low-traffic coffee shop. I don't think I have ever had a hard time finding a seat, even one with an outlet. In fact, seating is very plentiful here relative to some of the other coffee shops I frequent, and noise levels are much lower. Baristas are nice, bathrooms are clean, drinks are basically as good as the ones at Espresso on Grand River.

Coffee is great and staff is friendly! Everything comes out super fast and I rarely have to wait in line for more than half a minute. Only didn't like the coffee once and I think that's because they had just cleaned something and some of the chemicals got in my coffee Every other time has been great

The coffee is great without burnt aftertaste. Iced Lattes were perfect during the recent heat wave, and I expect the hot coffees to be the perfect antidote for Michigan Winter. Your tea is also wonderful. Many UM students bring their laptops and get a lot of study done. You have a frequent buyer reward day that is beautiful. They also promote payment with cash to keep the money in the municipality, although they take credit cards. Your note made me think and I used money because I thought it was a reasonable request.

They have good coffee and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. It's a very comfortable place and it's quiet enough to concentrate on reading, work or homework. The prices are comparable to the big name coffee shops as well.

If you're a fan of robust coffee and delicious treats, this is the place for you! All the food is made fresh daily, and the staff is wonderful, ensuring you have a fantastic experience every time you stop by. The coffee house offers Wi-Fi, and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. It's definitely worth checking out!
