Ask for my husband Michael's Special on a Roll! Chicken stable, provolone or American cheese, Mayo and Bar-B-que together with salad and tomatoes. I always ask him to make me the sandwich that HIM would make happy. The man knows his sandwiches! Very TASTY, not greasy and SUPER tasteful. The subs are too big for me, but the sandwich on a hard roll is AMAZING! Don't forget, TIP your Deli man!! P.s. make sure you tell him to cut it when that is what you want because they are not automatic. Enjoy

This place is certainly a hole in the wall kind of place but it is also the local watering hole. If you live in East Haven you have eaten at The Deli and their food is the simply amazing. The best part is the prices right for the amount of food that you get!

I visited the deli, where I often indulge in their delicious eggplant, either on a tray or in a hard roll. Tonight, I decided to try their pizza. I ordered a small pizza topped with onions, roasted red peppers, pineapple, and just sauce—no mozzarella or any other cheese. It was incredibly delicious! I could have easily devoured the entire pizza, but I chose to save a few slices for a future pizza night. I will definitely be ordering pizza from there again and again. The price was great too!
