South Lions Dim Sum Hot Pot

The hotpot here is excellent! I absolutely love it. I visit this restaurant once a week!

I ordered the soup dumplings, pork buns, and noodles, while my wife opted for a selection of assorted dim sums. Unfortunately, it seems we may have visited on an off night for the restaurant. The shrimp dim sums were inedible—there was an unpleasant odor and they tasted terrible. The soup dumplings lacked flavor, with barely a drop of soup inside them. As for the pork buns, they were a mishap, resembling a sticky mess with an almost nonexistent amount of meat filling (for all three buns combined, the meat was smaller than a pea). To be fair, the noodles were quite good. Overall, considering what we paid for dinner, this was a major disappointment. I hope it was just a holiday-related off night, as our experience was quite lacking.

The dim sum was incredible, and I also enjoyed a delicious jasmine bubble tea for dessert.

Finally a great local place with fantastic soup dumplings. The chicken dish was fresh and you could tell used high quality ingredients.

Food was really tasty! Full of flavor. I had came with my family for the hotpot and bbq and boba , and it did not disappoint. WE WILL COME BACK!!!!
