Madeleine's Kitchen - East Hampshire

Hands down, the top coffee shop in Petersfield. It's worth the trip just to go there. The atmosphere is lovely - a mix of bohemian, artsy, and peaceful. They also offer a great selection of deli items for purchase. Highly recommended for a coffee stop or more.

The restaurant serves incredibly tasty and exceptional dishes. They have added more tables and upgraded the seating for added comfort. Pets are also allowed in the cafe.

Consistently serves the best coffee in Petersfield and delicious food from the deli to eat in or take home. Divine cakes and bakes, scrumptious savoury dishes like frittata, quiche, sausage rolls and chicken milanaise, soups and salads. Fabulous.

In a town where there are so many cafes/coffee bars you need something special/different to stand out. Unfortunately this is not the case with Madeleines. We walk past most weeks when in town and have kept saying we like the look of it and should try it. Were we disappointed dirty uncleaned table, tasteless coffee and dry overcooked raspberry scones (which looked nothing like I think of as a scone . Dont think we will be trying again in a hurry.

Great choice of food, loved the salad bar. Nice to find somewhere that offers different dishes compared to the same old thing that you get everywhere else.
